Call for applications: Scholarships for journalism courses

The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes is awarding scholarships to mid-career journalists from a number of developing countries to attend journalism courses at the Radio Nederland Training Centre (RNTC) in the Netherlands.

RNTC is offering several courses:

  • Investigative Journalism (April 11-22, 2016)
  • Using Media for Behaviour Change (April 11-29, 2016)
  • Using Media for Development (May 9-20, 2016)
  • Media Campaigns (May 9-27, 2016)

To be eligible for a scholarship, African candidates must be a national of and working in one of the following countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe.

Applicants must be proficient in English and have at least three years of journalism experience.

The deadline to apply for a scholarship is October 23, 2015.
