Call for applications: Reporting course on human trafficking and slavery

TrustMedia [1] is offering bursaries for journalists to attend a reporting course on modern-day human trafficking and slavery. The course will run from November 16-20, 2015 in London, UK, in conjunction with theĀ Trust Women conference [2], which takes place November 17-18.

Journalists or regular contributors to print, broadcast, or online media organizations worldwide can apply for bursaries. Applicants must have at least two years of professional experience and a good level of spoken and written English.

All participants will receive free admission to the second day of the Trust Women conference, which offers exclusive networking and interview opportunities with experts on slavery and trafficking.

Full bursaries are available for journalists from the developing world or countries in political transition who work for organizations with no resources for training. Bursaries cover air travel, accommodation, and a modest living allowance. Part-bursaries are also available.

The application deadline is September 21, 2015.
