Call for applications: New York University offers new journalism fellowship

The Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University (NYU) is seeking applications from journalists for the World Journalist Fellowship. Candidates must have at least two years of international experience working at a print or electronic journalism publication. The Institute will also consider candidates with a combination of freelance journalism assignments equivalent to at least two years of work.

The fellowship provides international journalists with two semesters of funding to study at a master’s program at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, and a living allowance of $13,000 U.S.

Candidates must also complete an application for the graduate program of their choice. To be admitted to NYU, the GRE and TOEFL are required tests.

The deadline for fellowship applications is January 4, 2015.
