Journalists interested in environmental issues are invited to apply for a fellowship to attend the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.

The Earth Journalism Network is offering journalists the opportunity to attend the conference in December 2016, to report on environmental and biodiversity conservation issues. Fellows will have special briefings with national negotiators and key figures in this field.

Selected participants will attend a day-long workshop before attending the conference in Cancun, Mexico.

The fellowship covers travel expenses and lodging.

Applications are due by Sept. 10, and must be submitted in English.
