A US $5,000 grant is available for women or non-binary journalists with at least one year of professional work experience.
The award will be given to reporters whose work best captures the spirit of Kim Wall’s reporting. Kim Wall was a longform, print, video, radio, and journalism award winner who often spoke of “the undercurrents of rebellion”.
The grants will cover the costs associated with reporting, such as travel, logistics, insurance, visa fees, professional stipends, and payments for producers, translators, etc.
To participate in this program, applicants must have excellent written and spoken English. However, reporting can be published in any language.
The deadline to apply is December 15, 2022.
