The Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC23) is an opportunity for journalists to attend over 150 panels, workshops, and networking sessions on topics ranging from advanced data analysis to sustainability strategies. With a gathering of journalists from 100 countries, it is a chance to network, collaborate, and learn.

The conference will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre from Sept. 19 to 22. More than 150 fellowships will be offered to journalists in developing and transitioning countries, as well as journalists in disenfranchised communities, to participate in GIJC23.

To attend, a working knowledge of English is needed, and the fellowship application must be submitted in English.

The GIJC23 fellowship covers travel, lodging, the conference fee, and some meals.

The fellowship is open to full-time print, online, television, video, radio, documentary, and multimedia journalists.

The deadline to apply is Feb. 28, 2023.
