Third Coast/Richard H. Driehaus Foundation is inviting journalists to apply to a prize that honours audio stories, podcasts, and radio features.
The contest will offer cash prizes up to $4,500 US for excellent audio work in the following categories: Documentary, short documentary, non-English language documentary, serialized story, new artist, impact, audio unbound, director’s choice, and news feature.
Eligible audio must have been produced between Feb. 1, 2019 and May 11, 2021. The audio unbound category will accept submissions produced between Feb. 1, 2017 and May 11, 2021.
Submissions can be made in any language and must be accompanied by English translations.
The deadline to apply is May 11, 2021. The application form is available only in English.
