Print journalists, broadcasters, photographers, and filmmakers who are interested in reporting on climate change and environmental issues are invited to apply for the ACCER Awards. The awards, given by the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance, recognize journalism which enhances access to environmental information, builds resilience to climate change, or changes communities.

All submitted articles, audio, photos, or video must have been published or broadcast between June 2015 and February 2016.

The deadline for applicants to submit their original work (in English or French for some categories) is April 26.

Finalists will be enrolled in an intensive training program—the ACCER Awards Finalist Academy—and announced on World Environment Day, June 5, in Nairobi, Kenya.
