The European Forest Institute and the Global Editors Network are launching a program to encourage journalists to cover climate change stories in innovative and visually compelling ways.
The Lookout360° program combines in-field training and a three-month mentorship.
Ten journalists and producers will participate in a training program on climate change storytelling, as well as a crash course on 360° video filming and post-production. The training will take place in Lapland, Finland, an area where local communities are profoundly affected by climate change.
After the training, scientists and 360° video experts will support the participants to develop, create, and publish a story within three months.
The deadline to apply is Dec. 18, 2017.
