The government of Malawi is warning women to turn down job offers in Gulf countries after reports that women have been forced into sex work.

A government report details the sexual abuse of women in Kuwait, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates.

Labour Secretary Patrick Kabambe said job agents are taking advantage of the high unemployment rate to lure young African women to Gulf countries.
